Tone

Name: Tone (pr: Toe-nay) ("fall")
Pride: Ashfield Pride (birth), rogue (displaced)
Relations: Daughter to Mdomo, Adimu.

Tone is born just as her pride is flourishing in their less than idea homeland. The grass had returned when her father was young and after years of trying, Mdomo and Adimu birthed three heirs.
Growing up with two rough brother's wasn't as fun as a cub could have hoped with a father who treasured his little girl like fine china. The boys got to go play, while she had to watch or join her mother in border patrolling.
So Tone grew into a rather bored, grumpy cub, cherishing every time she could get away long enough to play with her brothers.
Until tragedy, a small rock slide at the edge of the territory where the grass met the Deep Scar, claimed both of her brothers' lives. The pride mourned the loss of the two male heirs for weeks, after which Mdomo's grip on Tone's tail tightened.
She understood her father's fear of losing another child, but what could she do wrong? She'd been tiptoeing away from danger all her life! The growing tension between the two brought disputes when she began to reach adolescence, begging to learn to hunt more than mice, to learn to defend herself, rather than have a guard.
During the middle of her teenage stages, another awful event changed the pride. The dry season had made the plentiful grass brittle and flammable. Wildfire quickly engulfed the land, taking with it a large portion of the pride, including the queen.
Forced to leave the land until the fires calmed, Tone and her father led the remaining lionesses from the fire to find a new place to stay or an ally to help house them.
